Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the AlKhabeer mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Service”), operated by AlKhabeer (“AlKhabeer”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

1. The Service

AlKhabeer is a digital platform built for Lebanon that enables clients and professionals to discover each other, communicate, and engage through structured profiles and job requests.

AlKhabeer is a platform only. We do not provide professional services ourselves and are not a party to agreements or transactions between users.

2. Eligibility

To use the Service, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Be legally capable of entering into binding agreements
• Provide accurate and truthful information during registration

We reserve the right to refuse access to the Service at our discretion.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree to:

• Provide accurate and up-to-date information
• Use only one account unless explicitly authorized
• Notify us immediately of unauthorized access or security breaches

3.2 Account Responsibility

You are solely responsible for your interactions, communications, and agreements with other users.

4. User Roles

Users may act as:

• Clients, who post requests or seek professionals
• Professionals, who present services and respond to requests

You acknowledge that:

• Both roles are treated independently
• Selection, acceptance, or rejection is at the discretion of users
• AlKhabeer does not guarantee outcomes, engagements, or results

5. User Content

5.1 Content You Provide

You may submit content including profiles, job requests, messages, images, and other materials (“User Content”).

You represent and warrant that:

• You have the right to submit the content
• The content is accurate and not misleading
• The content does not violate any law or third-party rights

5.2 Content Restrictions

You must not post content that is:

• False, deceptive, or fraudulent
• Abusive, threatening, discriminatory, or offensive
• Illegal or encouraging unlawful activity
• Infringing on intellectual property or privacy rights

We reserve the right to remove content at any time without notice.

6. Payments and Subscriptions

6.1 iOS

Payments and subscriptions on iOS are processed through Apple In-App Purchases. Apple’s terms and policies apply. AlKhabeer does not store payment card information.

6.2 Android

Payments are not processed directly through the app. Where applicable, users may be required to upload proof of payment images for verification purposes.

6.3 No Guarantees

AlKhabeer does not guarantee service quality, availability, pricing, or outcomes between users.

7. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

• Circumvent the platform to avoid fees or safeguards
• Harass, exploit, or deceive other users
• Attempt to access accounts or data not belonging to you
• Interfere with the operation or security of the Service
• Use the Service for unlawful or unauthorized purposes

8. Account Suspension and Termination

8.1 Our Rights

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe that you:

• Violated these Terms
• Engaged in fraudulent, abusive, or harmful behavior
• Provided false or misleading information
• Misused the platform or harmed other users
• Created risk or legal exposure for AlKhabeer

8.2 Effects of Termination

Upon suspension or termination:

• Your access to the Service may be limited or revoked
• Your content may be removed
• Any outstanding subscriptions may be handled in accordance with applicable store policies

AlKhabeer is not liable for any loss resulting from account suspension or termination.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AlKhabeer:

• Makes no warranties regarding accuracy, reliability, or availability
• Does not guarantee user behavior, outcomes, or results
• Is not responsible for disputes, damages, or losses between users

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• AlKhabeer shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• AlKhabeer’s total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to AlKhabeer (if any) in the preceding 12 months

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AlKhabeer from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your content or interactions
• Your violation of these Terms or applicable laws

12. Governing Principles

These Terms are governed by applicable laws and legal principles relevant to AlKhabeer’s operation. Legal interpretations may vary depending on jurisdiction.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be posted with a revised “Last updated” date.

Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
